Co., Ltd. (briefly, Hua Hong Group) is established
in April, 1996, resulted from the conjoining contribution
of CEC, Shanghai Jiushi Corporation, and Shanghai
Apparatus & Wiring (Group) Corporation for the
construction of national “909” key engineering,
with a registered capital of RMB 4.87 billion yuan.
Hua Hong Group runs itself mainly through Foundry
operations. It provides services as the design,
development, manufacturing and marketing of super
large-scale IC. Hua Hong Group has featured itself
in the field of high-voltage CMOS, non-volatile
memorizer, RF and SiGe crafts and technologies. |

Hua Hong Group presently has two advanced 8-inch (including
one is underdevelopment) and one 4-inch IC production
lines. Its core enterprise is Shanghai Hua Hong-NEC Electronics
Co., Ltd. established with joining stocks from Hua Hong
Group, NEC Japan, Jazz Newport Fab LLC America. Shanghai
Belling Joint-stock Co., Ltd. under the direction of Hua
Hong Group is the first corporation listed in stock market
in China microelectronics industry. Following semiconductor
industrial chain, Hua Hong carries out comprehensive cooperation
with renowned corporations, national universities and
semiconductor technology researching institutes grounded
on its chip production lines. It successively sets up
chip design companies, design & service companies

centering around chip manufacturing.

card, all-in-one bus traveling card, auto ticket checking
up system for railway traveling, bus electronics commutation
tickets, purchasing system in shops and IC card reader.
Telecommunication products: specialized telecommunication
